Pedro Joao and his team launched an Indiegogo campaign for ZHOR, the ultimate multimedia upgrade for your car that will help reduce the number of services and gadgets the average driver uses.
“ZHOR is an integrated solution, bringing to your car – old or new – a number of services and functions like no other in the market. ZHOR is designed to be installed in most cars, pickup trucks, and SUV models and its main feature is an elegant 7-inch multi touch display, stylishly developed to integrate itself with a variety of different vehicles seamlessly,” says the team, “ZHOR is an aftermarket solution that is firmly attached to the car’s dashboard, making it safe and noise free, yet simple and easy to install.”
ZHOR has a long list of features starting with internet integration (by internal 3G connection or smartphone hotspot). The device also has a GPS navigation system with integrated fuel consumption data, display customization according to your car’s brand and voice operated controls. ZHOR includes a rear-parking camera with assisted guidelines and front wide-angle dashboard camera with loop recording.
To add to that list of features ZHOR has an integrated screen camera and microphone for making video calls and supports audio streaming services and Internet radio. Using a custom free app with compatible smartphones, users can mirror their smartphone screens on the 7-inch display, also allowing calls and text messaging.
“Our vision is to offer any car owner the possibility to make a valuable upgrade, stepping into a world where driving is an enjoyable technological experience,” the creators share, “But we need your help in order for ZHOR to become real in every vehicle; we need to get our project financed. In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including a ZHOR sticker for $12, an official ZHOR cap for $28, or an official t-shirt for $48. A limited number of backers can receive a ZHOR for the early bird prices of $400 or $428 (almost 50% off!). The regular Indiegogo price for one ZHOR is $490, and backers can receive two for $883 or a family bundle of five for $2,140.
