Medistar Corporation ("Medistar") continues its history of developing community-centered medical assets by announcing plans to develop integrated senior care facilities in three dynamic submarkets within the Greater Houston Area. Each facility will provide modern, resident-focused assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services specifically tailored to meet the needs of the communities of Katy, Pearland and the Webster-Clear Lake area.

The Katy senior care facility will be developed in Park West, an upscale mixed-use development of Medistar on its 150-acre site on Interstate 10 West, immediately adjacent to Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
The Pearland senior care facility will complement the acute care services of Memorial Hermann Southeast to meet this community's accelerating, unmet needs in post-acute and residential care for seniors.
Medistar's longstanding commitment to the health and well-being of residents in the Webster-Clear Lake area is reflected in its recent completion of construction of Bay Area Rehabilitation Hospital; acquisition and renovation of Gemini I medical office building; and development and expansion of Bay Area Regional Medical Center, the newest and most modern full-service acute care hospital serving the Bay Area.
