The design is compatible with all current Raspberry Pi models, and embeds an Arduino compatible processor in a Raspberry Pi compatible HAT. Ardhat provides full power management, and is available with a built-in 2000mAh battery which makes it perfect for pro-makers, learners, and educators. It is a highly integrated and compact way to take Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects to the next level with hardware that quickly responds to real-time events.
This technology accepts nearly all Arduino shields. Ardhat Basic has analogue sensors, a real-time clock, user interface controls, and supply monitoring. The apps are open source so users can easily modify the sketch to add new features and capabilities. Those wanting to add more to the experience can choose the Ardhat-I with a 3D Gyro, Compass, Accelerometer, Barometer and Thermometer, or an Ardhat-W for long range ISM wireless node with up to 15 km range. This makes it IoT ready out of the box.
Currently, there are a variety of models to choose from, both with and without long-range ISM radio. All share the same ‘FlatTop’ design. Ardhat aims to provide maximum flexibility for users to make it simple to create advanced projects, from drones to space shots, and wireless options make it perfect for IoT gateway.
In education markets, it offers physical and electrical protection for the Raspberry Pi circuit board, so its ready for the classroom.
