(http://www.ecostaticinc.com), maker of SlickyNotes, the world’s first reusable sticky notes, announces it has entered the European market through Quantore Europe's distribution channel, including 550 points of sale in Europe. Quantore’s highly automated and mechanized distribution center will make SlickyNotes available to customers at their favorite office supply stores at the lowest possible price.
“This partnership with Quantore will allow us to substantially grow our business in Europe,” said Nelson Pizarro, CEO and founder of EcoStatic. “We’re committed to pricing our products in a way that makes them broadly accessible, and Quantore’s cooperative business model will help us achieve that goal for European customers.”
Sales of SlickyNotes products have risen steadily since the company’s creation in 2012, mostly via word-of-mouth, notes Pizarro. The majority of purchases have been made by consumers shopping on the Ecostatic website.
“This year we began opening the distribution and retail markets and, as a result, first quarter sales are already at 50 percent of our entire revenue for 2014,” Pizarro said. “With the Quantore partnership and several additional distribution agreements that will soon be finalized, we expect to increase sales by 400 percent this year.”
SlickyNotes are the first innovation in the sticky note market in over 40 years. The brightly colored, thin sheets of double-sided paper work with any writing instrument on the colored side (just like traditional sticky notes) or may be flipped to use with a dry erase marker. They may be erased and reused multiple times.
SlickyNotes stick to smooth surfaces like glass, doors, desks, wallpaper and drywall. Their stable electrostatic charge lets them stick for weeks.
To bolster awareness of their products and raise $10,000 for new machinery that will help lower production costs, Ecostatic recently launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/slickynotes-the-world-s-first-reusable-stickynotes). Currently, the campaign is over 55 percent funded.
