Attention drivers of all types of vehicles! Driving in heavy rain is difficult enough but driving in snow, ice, and sleet is even worse. And, keeping the windshield clear, even with the use of the windshield defroster on high, is not always sufficient for a decent view. The Shelly Blade will make the difference, a big difference! It is a line of remotely controlled heated windshield wipers which feature temperature controlled heating elements in the blades. The Shelly Blade has a key fob style remote and automatic shut-off via a motion sensor and is designed to keep the wipers andwindshield free of ice clumps in cold conditions.
This new product is fabricated in molded rubber or silicone and produced with concealed and embedded closed loop temperature controlled heating elements or Nichrome ribbon wire; this wire is molded into the rubber or silicone blades at the point of manufacture and designed to heat the blades through electrical resistance when a current passes through. Snap-brackets secure the blades to the wiper arms and are retrofitted with a plug for the end of the wiper wires where the plug situated at the centered mounting of the wipers and wired into the vehicle's electrical harness with an On/Off switch.
