Markets plunge over Greek uncertainty

Uncertainty over Greek negotiations sent the markets tumbling during the midday with the Dow plunging 148 points to 17,890. Nasdaq dropped 28 points to 5,053.

On the upside

Shares of Wingstop (Nasdaq: WING) surged on its first trading day.

Sun Trust Robinson initiated coverage of Supernus Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: SUPN) with a Buy rating.

Amicus Therapeutics (Nasdaq: FOLD) raised $225 million through a common stock offering.

On the downside

Agios Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: AGIO) reported positive interim data from a Phase 1 study of AG-348 but the stock price fell.

Concerns that Peabody Energy (Nasdaq: BTU) may have to pay substantially more for environmental damage insurance sent the stock price down.

Esperion Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ESPR) extended its losses.

In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of more than 5 to 3 on the NYSE and by nearly 3 to 2 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 dropped 14 points to 2094. Bitcoin added $1 to $230.
