(Sampoerna), through its CSR programs umbrella "Sampoerna untuk Indonesia" (Sampoerna for Indonesia), has been awarded as the winner under the categories of Social Empowerment and Responsible Business Leader during the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards (AREA) 2015, a prestigious annual international Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards program held by Enterprise Asia in Macau this year.

All of Sampoerna's contributions and CSR programs are delivered under the program umbrella of 'Sampoerna untuk Indonesia'. The initiatives are focused on four main pillars, namely Access to Education, Economic Opportunity, Empowering Women and Disaster Relief and Preparedness, which also serve as a platform for Sampoerna employees to give back to the communities.
