SMA to Host Annual Dinner Celebration & Auction, Honor Judge Joseph G. Will

PRLog - June 26, 2015 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Stewart Marchman-Act Foundation is pleased to announce the details of their annual Dinner Celebration and Auction fundraiser. This year’s theme is a “Southern Summer Picnic” and will honor Judge Joseph G. Will. Judge Will presides over adult drug court in Daytona Beach and DeLand, and also hears Baker and Marchman Act cases.

The event will take place Thursday, July 2nd at the Daytona 500 Club at the Daytona International Speedway. It will start with a reception at 6:00pm and a dinner at 7:00pm. Proceeds will be used to support the programs and services of SMA Behavioral Health Services, Inc. Individual tickets are available.

Before becoming a judge, Joseph G. Will was a board certified civil trial lawyer. Judge Will has an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law. Judge Will was appointed in 1991, and has presided over every division in the circuit court.

The event draws on average 450 attendees and past honorees include; Mike Skinner – 2014, Trevor Bayne – 2013, State Senator Evelyn Lynn – 2012, Jamie McMurray -2011, Alan Gustafson – 2010, Vince Carter – 2009, Dale Jarrett – 2008, Bobby Ginn – 2007, Kyle Petty – 2006, Michael Waltrip – 2005, Hal Marchman – 2004, Jimmie Johnson - 2003, Kevin Harvick – 2002, Darrel Waltrip – 2000, Richard Petty – 1999, and Mark Martin – 1998.
