Gourmet Living Unveils Mouth Watering Balsamic Vinegar Recipes

Greenwich, CT based Gourmet Living, have just made several balsamic vinegar recipes available to the public through their website. This comes shortly after the company released their authentic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Both the label and the content have been certified IGP by the Italian authorities, as well as those of the European Union.

"We have discussed the certification process of our product in the past, as well as its various health and nutritional benefits", says Richard May, from Gourmet Living. "However, all that knowledge is pointless unless you know what to do with the vinegar itself. We have collected a number of delicious Italian recipes that will really bring our balsamic vinegar to rights. Just like mamma used to make them!"

Few people understand just how versatile true and authentic balsamic vinegar actually is. Because it is a certified product, the flavor is highly concentrated, which is also noticeable in the viscous texture of the vinegar itself. As such, only the slightest amounts are needed in recipes to give the dish a hint of the delicious Lambrusco grapes. Indeed, it can be used in anything from giving vegetables a little kick to making ice cream more delectable. Some even drizzle it on strawberries, which provides a true taste explosion in the mouth.

Gourmet Living have provided a number of links to famous recipes on their website. These include charred octopus, prosciutto, bruchettas and canapes. All of these dishes are traditional Italian meals that have been enhanced so that they are of true restaurant quality. Customers are recommended to try these easy recipes at home to impress guests during a dinner party.

"Using our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena on some of the dishes suggested on our website will really make any dinner party host stand out", adds Richard. "While the dishes look sophisticated and gourmet style, they are actually very easy to make. All have been created to truly entice the pallet, leaving people wanting more. Whether or not the dinner party host then decides to share recipes or not is entirely up to them. Sometimes, it is nice to keep a few little things a secret, after all."

Balsamic vinegar can be used in all types of dishes. It is often drizzled over salads, but will also enhance the flavors or roasted vegetables. Furthermore, it is a great meat tenderizer, truly bringing out the flavors. The taste of true balsamic vinegar is so unique that it can be used in all types of Italian food recipes, from starters to mains and from mains to desserts.
