The guest will detail some of the advanced technology features and performance specs in an informal question-and-answer format.
As for the convertible itself, the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata will feature the entire SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY suite to optimize both performance and fuel economy. The new model runs on a 2.0L four-cylinder engine matched to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, with output reaching 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain has been relocated to bring the vehicle closer to a 50/50 weight distribution for improved handling and performance. Available high-tech safety features will include a lane departure warning system, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
