Matthew Brickman Comments on Supreme Court Same Sex Marriage Ruling

By: PRLog
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled recently that same-sex marriage has now become legal in the United States. Prior to this in the State of Florida, same-sex marriages were allowed in certain counties but divorces were not. Florida divorce mediator Matthew Brickman recently addressed how this ruling has impacted Florida.
PRLog - July 31, 2015 - WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- On June 26th, The US Supreme Court struck down the ban on gay marriage in a historic 5 to 4 ruling allowing same-sex marriage to become legal in the United States.

Matthew Brickman, divorce mediator and founder of iMediate Inc, released a statement on his YouTube channel saying, "The justice has ruled the states cannot deny gay men and women the same marriage rights enjoyed for thousands of years by opposite sex couples. In the State of Florida this means that the gay, lesbian and transgender community can get married and also get divorced as well."

His full comments can be seen in the video below.

He went on to say, "So for those who have been married in other states and unfortunately their marriages have not worked they can now enjoy the same freedoms in marriage equality to get divorced and establish parenting plans in the State of Florida."

iMediate Inc has been prepared to handle same-sex divorce for months in anticipation of this decision and also handles mediation for a variety of matters including small claims, civil, and family cases involving disputes between couples with children, building contractors, small business mergers, bedding stores, auto accidents through State Farm Insurance, landscaping companies, neighbor disputes, construction companies and even home owners associations.
