Booking.com, an online booking website since ’96, recognized the need for their 550+ staff at one of their call centers located in Orlando, FL, to get a taste of Brazil without the travel. They asked their staff to see if they knew of any good local Brazilian restaurants and, lo and behold, the majority voted for Giraffas Brazilian Grill.

We had just recently launched our catering program and had already started with smaller 20-50 guest catering packages… but 550 guests was huge for us!”, stated Vera Giatti, who became the first Giraffas Brazilian Grill licensee outside of South Florida in November ’14, purchasing Giraffas Orlando on the popular iDrive strip in Orlando and, most recently, also purchasing Giraffas Mills Park, located in a residential area in Orlando. “We immediately jumped to the challenge and wow was it a success! We served our Brazilian staples… all-natural grilled chicken breast, white rice and feijão (black beans), pão de queijo (manioc flour cheese bread) and milk chocolate brigadeiros (Brazilian chocolate & condensed milk dessert) and, of course, our house made sauces Brazilian vinaigrette and chimichurri. The Booking.com staff had no idea Brazilian food was so tasty!”.
Booking.com will most certainly cater more events with Giraffas Brazilian Grill, just comes to show how food is knowledge and, knowing about Brazil is the thing to do these days!
