Prior to June 26th, same-sex couples who were married but moved to Florida were unable to divorce and left in limbo. Since the US Supreme Court struck down the bans on same-sex marriage in a historic 5-4 ruling the gay, lesbian and transgender community can get married and also get divorced as well.
