Skwirk opens Western Australia office

By: PRLog
Sept. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Leading Australian education company Skwirk is pleased to announce the opening of its first office in Perth, Western Australia. The office will allow the company, which provides online resources to teachers all over Australia, to back its virtual presence with real-life support and training.

"I am delighted to announce the opening of an office in Western Australia," said Skwirk CEO David Weston. "Schools deserve the very best in support, and having the ability to visit, train and inform schools on our resources is vital. This, along with the recent Brisbane office opening, really shows how far the company has come this year."

Following on the heels of Skwirk's opening of an office in Brisbane, the founding of a Perth office will allow the company to intensify its support for Australian education. Teachers will be able to enjoy direct access to expert staff members, who can show them how to put Skwirk's thousands and thousands of resources to best use.

Furthermore, the opening of a Perth office indicates just how far Skwirk has come since its current chairman, Mr Rod Salmon, established the company in October 2005. Skwirk has grown to become one of the most important providers of educational resources in Australia; more than 25% of schools in New South Wales now have subscriptions. And, all in all, more than 19,000 teachers, 280,000 students and 1200 schools benefit from Skwirk's work.

Users pay for subscriptions on a monthly basis, and this gives them access to more than 18,000 online resources. These are created by education experts with a thorough knowledge of the Australian curriculum. All core subjects, including maths, English, science, history, geography and commerce, are catered for, as are the majority of year levels (kindergarten through to Year 10).
