Markets fall over Greek concerns

Concerns that Greece may not reach an agreement with its creditors sent the markets down during the midday with the Dow tumbling 73 points to 17,775. Nasdaq plunged 50 points to 5,017.

On the upside

Ballard Power Systems (Nasdaq: BLDP) signed license and supply agreements valued at approximately $10 million to provide fuel cell Power Products and Technology Solutions for 33 clean energy buses in China.

PetroQuest Energy (NYSE: PQ) completed the sale of its Woodford Shale and Mississipian Lime assets to WSGP Gas Producing.

Pozen (Nasdaq: POZN) will acquire Tribute Pharmaceuticals in a deal valued at approximately $146 million. After completing the acquisition, Pozen will relocate its headquarters to Ireland.
 
On the downside

The New York Stock Exchange issued a public reprimand letter to ITT Educational Services (NYSE: ESI) for failing to comply with listing rules.

Profit taking weighed down shares of Pixelworks (Nasdaq: PXLW).

Shares of JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) fell over concerns that increasing airline capacity would negatively impact earnings.
 
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of more than 2 to 1 on the NYSE and by more than 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 dropped 12 points to 2080. Bitcoin added $3 to $227.
