Central Point, Oregon: Brewer's MarK has just announced a special promotion of their precision engineered manual burr coffee grinder. Until October 9, 2015, the Brewer's Mark Coffee Grinder is available on Amazon.com at a sale price of $19.
According to Brewer's MarK spokesman Rickey Williams, the idea for this sale was inspired by this month's "blood moon," a rare event that combines the moon's closest approach to earth with a lunar eclipse. The last blood moon was in 1982. Williams said "we wanted to convey a sense of rarity for this sale, because it's the only time we plan to sell our coffee grinder for as low as $19."
The Brewer's MarK coffee grinder uses a harder-than-diamonds ceramic burr to evenly grind fresh whole coffee beans, without the heat generated by most blade grinders. Although burr grinders can sell for hundreds of dollars each, the Brewer's MarK grinder sells for much less. According to many experts, the ceramic burr is what makes the difference in a quality grind however, and Williams states the burr used by Brewer's MarK is equal in quality to those found in much more expensive grinders.
Williams states "today's coffee drinkers are becoming more sophisticated, both in their coffee taste and in the best ways to make their coffee." Even so, he said that the most popular grinders found on Amazon are the small electric "propeller blade" models. He says more and more coffee lovers are discovering the benefits of burr grinders however, and the rising sales of the Brewer's MarK grinder reflect this growing popularity.
According to Williams, the Brewer's MarK burr coffee grinder was also designed to maximize user convenience. The grinder is easy to use and transport, small in size, and does not require electricity. Williams says these features were designed with travelers and campers in mind.
For the time being, Brewer's MarK only sells their burr coffee grinder, but is looking forward to bringing other products to market that will enhance the coffee drinking enjoyment of their customers. Williams says his company is running its blood moon sale now, with an eye towards winning the loyalty of coffee lovers who will be interested in the future in related products, and who will become long-term customers.
