BAE Systems will showcase a full range of technologies and solutions at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C., October 12-14, 2015. - Mobile Protected Firepower: BAE Systems will exhibit a solution to meet the U.S. Army’s proposed requirement for a Mobile Protected Firepower capability, which would involve an expeditionary light tank that could be air-dropped from a C-130 aircraft. - APKWS Laser-guided Rocket: BAE Systems' Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS™) is a plug-and-play guidance kit that easily and affordably converts unguided 2.75-inch (70 millimeter) rockets into precision laser-guided rockets. This technology bridges the gap between unguided rockets used for area suppression and larger diameter, more powerful anti-armor missiles. Initially designed to meet U.S. Army requirements, the APKWS system is a U.S. Navy program of record and has been deployed in combat by the Marine Corps since 2012. - BattleView 360 Agile Situational Awareness in Combat Vehicles: BAE Systems will debut for the first time in the United States a new situational awareness system called BattleView 360. Leveraging fighter jet technology, BattleView 360 allows warfighters to “see through” the armor of a combat vehicle, shielding them in order to acquire a complete, 360-degree picture of the battle environment. The system enables better and more rapid decision making, friend-or-foe classification, and communication of plans, as well as safer route planning. It is a highly adaptable and is designed to seamlessly integrate with multiple existing vehicle types, operating systems, and radios.
