DESTIN, Fla. - Oct. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- The Village of Baytowne Wharf, located inside the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, presents the 8th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest on October 16th and 17th. American specialty beers from around the nation will be available for participants to sample. This two day festival will provide beer tastings, recipes, lectures and live music.
Friday, October 16th, from 5pm to 9:30pm, the event will begin with Beer Bingo at the Baytowne Wharf Events Plaza. Guests are invited to pick up their cards at the Events Plaza Stage and then visit each merchant to receive a BINGO on their card. At 9:00pm all cards will be entered for a chance to win prizes such as a Stand Up Paddle Board from YOLO, a Grizzly Cooler full of Beer and Gift Cards from Power Up Watersports.
Saturday, October 17th, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, the main event will be presented at the Baytowne Wharf Events Plaza. Over 40 breweries will offer close to 200 domestic and international craft beers for guests to sample. Representatives of the featured breweries will be available to discuss the variety of styles of beer offered for tasting. Live music at Baytowne’s Center Stage will be provided at 2:00pm by The Modern Eldorados and at 4:00pm by The Owsley Brothers.
The VIP Event is new to the festival and held on Saturday, October 17th, before the main event from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. This event will feature exclusive beer tastings and food from Marlin Grill. Guests with VIP tickets will have the opportunity to be first in line at the main event. Tickets to the VIP event as well as the Main Event are on sale now.
