LittleThings and AOL Partner to Co-Produce Original 8-Part DIY Video Series

LittleThings.com, the leading lifestyle destination for inspiring, uplifting, and engaging stories, and AOL are excited to announce the premiere of “LittleThings,” an original, eight-part Do-It-Yourself (DIY) video series. Each episode of the premium series will feature diverse DIY tips and tricks related to food, crafts, life hacks, and more. The web-exclusive video series — is featured on both AOL’s and LittleThings’ desktop, mobile, tablet, and social properties — began on October 6.

“Our LittleThings creative team was thrilled to partner and co-produce this series,” said Maia McCann, Director of Content at LittleThings. “We were able to seamlessly combine LittleThings’ scrappy, high-speed production techniques with AOL’s state-of-the-art studio to produce original DIY content that will engage and enthuse our audience not just seasonally, but year-round.”

“Our audience is excited about this type of content and LittleThings has been a great partner,” said Tim Matusch, Head of Strategy and Operations at AOL.com. “As a video-driven destination, AOL.com is committed to providing viewers with the most relevant and interesting content on the Internet, and this new series helps further that mission.”

Throughout the month of October, new videos will be released twice a week with topics ranging from kitchen hacks and recipes to seasonal decorations and kid-friendly treats for the upcoming holidays.

“The synergy between LittleThings and AOL in terms of readership, distribution, and social engagement is tremendous,” says LittleThings COO Gretchen Tibbits. “We’re extremely excited to create original, easy-to-execute, and family-friendly video content to achieve both parties’ business goals of connecting and engaging with new and existing readers.”
