ITT’s 2015 Golden Gear Academy Kicks Off in Shanghai

ITT Corp. (NYSE:ITT) announced today that its China team recently kicked off the 2015 ITT Golden Gear Academy at Tongji University in Shanghai. As an education and talent development platform for the Chinese engineering and manufacturing industry, the event attracted Tongji University students majoring in automotive studies, rail transit, electronics, and information and mechanical engineering.

On opening day, professors and experts from Tongji University, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and ITT China shared best practices and discussed industry trends to broaden students’ viewpoints and inspire their thinking around the latest market developments. Academy students will also team up to participate in an Innovation Competition, applying their knowledge to develop new ideas and proposals. Outstanding students will have the opportunity to earn awards and internship opportunities at ITT.
