Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), today announced that it received two major supplier awards at the 2015 Embraer Suppliers Conference recently conducted at Embraer’s facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Garmin was named Supplier of the Year pertaining to the support of the G1000® Prodigy and G3000™ Prodigy Touch Integrated Flight Decks in two categories: Material Support to Operations and Electro – Electrical Systems. Since 2010, Garmin has received a total of six awards from Embraer among various categories. The annual Embraer awards ceremony recognizes suppliers’ achievements relative to innovation, quality and reliability of the products and services provided to Embraer.

As part of the 2015 Embraer Awards, Garmin was recognized as the Supplier of the Year within the Material Support to Operations category. This award acknowledges the supply chain efforts as it relates to supporting Embraer with the G1000 Prodigy and G3000 Prodigy Touch Integrated Flight Decks in the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 respectively. This category highlights product quality, reliability and on-time product delivery performance, as well as aftermarket support in those same key areas.

Garmin also received top honors as Supplier of the Year in the Electro – Electrical Systems category. This category emphasizes design innovation, user-interface and overall system architecture, as well as outstanding efforts among production line support, quality and on-time reliability of the supply chain. This award further highlights Garmin’s achievement in designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art flight deck systems while being sensitive to market needs and preferences.

These two awards join several previous Embraer Supplier of the Year awards won by Garmin in the following categories:
