Risk Factors for Rising Interest Rates

The Fed has been flirting with the idea of an interest rate increase for the last few months. If it were not for the market correction in August and sluggish world economic indicators, interest rates already would have risen. Now that the U.S. markets almost have recovered to mid-2015 levels and had a surprisingly good jobs report in October, there might be a rate hike announcement at next month’s Fed meeting.
