Trees recovered from the flood in Wimberley are being processed into usable wood products!WIMBERLEY, Texas – November 24, 2015 – On May 26, 2015, a flash flood along the Blanco River devastated the community of Wimberley, Texas. Heavy rains created a 40-foot wall of water that roared down the Blanco River and created an unprecedented path of devastation and destruction. Lives were lost, property was destroyed, and precious memories with their irreplaceable heirlooms were swept away forever by the event. Nature Reborn has been located in central Texas for over a decade. It began as a hobby, evolved into a passion, and then into a struggling small business. In a strange twist of fate, they actually began reclaiming trees and began using them to create beautiful wood products.
However, before everyone can enjoy these incredible wood works, Nature Reborn needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $25,000 by January 6, 2016. The funds raised will go towards purchasing equipment and processing, as well as reclaiming, the recoverable trees destroyed in the tragedy. Funding this project will allow Nature Reborn Woodworks ascend to the next level.
