COLUMBIA, Md. - Dec. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Five Doors Network is excited to announce the donation of more than 4,960 meals to various food banks across the United States in time for the holidays, through the crowdsourced 2015 Five Doors Network Holiday Food Drive.
In an idea suggested by a Five Doors Network agent, and brought to life by Jennie Hill, Director of Marketing for Five Doors, each of the 14 expansion teams left bags on 3,100 doors in their local communities with the simple request to fill it with food and have it ready for pickup in five days.
“We were overwhelmed by the response from our past clients, geographic farms, and even a local title company in Florida. People really got into the spirit of giving to those in need and filled bag after bag for us to pick up. Past clients were posting pictures across social media encouraging others to jump in and donate too. It was amazing to witness their generosity,” said Charlotte Savoy, Integrator & Regional Partner of the Five Doors Network.
The team collected 1,230 bags of food, with an estimated 4,960 meals, which were donated to the local food banks in the communities in which Five Doors Network has an expansion team. “Five Doors Network is the largest expansion team in the world with a gigantic heart to impact our local communities in a positive way. It is great to see how many people we were able to help in a short period of time and gives me plenty of inspiration for how we can do even more,” said Andy Green, Director of Worldwide Lead Generation.
