Barking Hound Village Westside and Barking Hound Village Buckhead, which have been operated by Bark and Board, LLC, will become Bark and Board Westside and Bark and Board Buckhead. The other five locations of Barking Hound Village will remain under the existing corporate name of Barking Hound Village. Those locations are: the Village, Inn, Lofts, Airport and Buckhead Boarding, operated by Barking Hound Village, LLC.
"Having been a part of, and associated with, Barking Hound Village during the past nine years has been a terrific adventure," said Scott Powers, President of Bark and Board, LLC. "David York, owner of Barking Hound Village, is a mentor and friend who was gracious enough to offer me the chance to purchase the Westside location five years ago. Then, three years ago, Bark and Board opened our second location in Buckhead, which operated under the Barking Hound Village name."
"Scott and his company have been terrific partners these past years," added York, "and I look forward to our continuing friendship as we become friendly competitors."
Barking Hound Village, LLC, which is solely owned by David York and has been serving the Atlanta area since 1999, will continue operating its existing locations, with new locations coming soon, as Barking Hound Village:
• The Village at 1918 Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE
• Inn at 777 Lambert Dr. NE
• Lofts at 765 North Ave. NE
• Buckhead Boarding at 20 Pharr Rd. NW
• Airport at 3080 Sylvan Road
Bark and Board will continue operating Bark and Board Westside at 426 Trabert Avenue NW, offering dog daycare, dog and cat boarding and grooming; as well as the Bark and Board Buckhead location offering doggie day care and dog and cat grooming at 50 Pharr Road NW.
