Collins is co-producing his debut EP of original songs called “Count the Seconds!”TOTNES, United Kingdom – January 29, 2016 – Talented musician Gabriel Collins recently announced his professional, debut EP, “Count the Seconds” and a new music video. Collins has been writing and playing music since 1997, and since 2006, he’s been writing and singing his own songs while studying at the late lamented Dartington College of Arts. For the past two and a half years, he has been recording, producing, and mixing this EP, which is his first professional quality release as a solo artist. The EP is called ‘Count the Seconds’ because the general theme is time passing. There are two romantic songs on it, a political one, and two impressionistic, exploratory songs. Collins and his team are very close to the end of the mixing stage and will be finished and ready to master in early 2016.
Now, Collins wants to catapult his career into, and out of, the realm of new artists. However, before everyone can enjoy this incredible debut EP, Gabriel Collins needs help. That’s why he launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise £12,342 by March 10, 2016. The funds raised will go towards the things that usually come with a professional level release, such as, physical copies of the EP, merchandise to sell at gigs, and music video costs. The funds will also go towards promo photos, artwork, website costs, PR, and a plugging campaign to get his music and content some attention. This will help him rise above the bubbling, babbling ocean of market saturation. Collins sees this labor of love as an investment for his future, so that he can realize and sustain his long-term `life goals’ as a full-time songwriter, producer, music artist and singer. This will also help him to get gigs and find a manager.
