Rodney W. Schlauger Has Been Recognized Among the Top in His Industry by the Expert Network©

"I initially wanted to be a lawyer solely to help people. I decided I wanted to be a lawyer when I was in third grade. My father was involved with business and I would often go with him to meet with his lawyer. I was always impressed with the work that he did and I could see how much it helped my father’s business."

As a thought-leader in his industry, Schlauger has his finger on recent trends in the legal field. In particular, he notes how technology has drastically changed how law is practiced. He noted: 

"Using technology to help your practice is so important. It’s always changing. I was working on some issues for the secretary of state and was going through a file that was transferred to me through our other office. And going back through the file and seeing what happened to the corporation, I could see that even just a few years ago, everything was done paper. And now everything is electronic, and that has drastically changed our practice."

Schlauger is listed in the Best Lawyers of America for the areas of Litigation - Banking & Finance; Litigation - Real Estate; and Real Estate Law. The National Trial Lawyers recently listed Schlauger as one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers in South Dakota.
