Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a deficiency-free health survey by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services in its 2015 survey.

Every year, state officials conduct on-site unannounced evaluations to ensure nursing homes are meeting state and federal standards, which regulate how care must be provided to residents. Trained surveyors spend several days reviewing records, observing daily operations and interviewing a sample of facility staff members and residents for their annual inspection. Results from the health survey are evaluated to determine if the facility is in compliance with regulations governing areas such as facility management, infection control, quality of care, residents’ rights, confidentiality and quality of service. Only the top 10 percent of nursing homes receive a deficiency-free health survey.

“We pride ourselves on the care and services that we provide to residents,” says Regional Director of Operations, Renee Anderson. “I am proud of our team. The staff is to be commended for their attention to resident care and safety.”

Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation’s management and operations team collaborate to develop and implement plans every year to continuously improve their services and the facility.
