ORLANDO, Fla. - Feb. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- The second annual Bridge of Hope Walk A Dog Event is an exciting day for Kissimmee, St. Cloud, and Winter Park residents, who are excited to take part in this regular charity event that is sponsored by Subaru South Orlando. The event will take place on February 27, 2016 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at Lakefront Park, 201 Lakefront Drive in Kissimmee. The event, a fundraiser to help offer low-cost or free therapy services to children with disabilities, is open to members of the community, their families, and their dogs.
The event features plenty of fun, and is open to the whole family, including your dog! Activities include a meet and greet with the Bridge of Hope therapy dogs, live music, stage performances, games, prizes, and more. Visitors will be able to purchase food and beverages, as well as sign up for raffle tickets and participate in the silent auction. In addition, our canine friends will have plenty of fun in the dog relay and puppy pageant, while sweet dogs needing a home will be available for adoption.
Bridge of Hope is a therapy center designed to treat children with disabilities even if they have no resources to pay for those therapies. The center treats a wide range of disabilities, and offers speech, occupational, physical, and pet therapy for clients. The center is working to provide services to families for low or no cost, regardless of health insurance status. Therapies are designed to treat a wide range of disorders, including autism, Down’s syndrome, strokes, MS, ALS, cerebral palsy, Guillain-Barre syndrome, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, and more.
