ITT’s Comprehensive Portfolio of Shock Absorption Technologies on Display at HANNOVER MESSE 2016

ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) will showcase a wide range of robust, reliable, customized shock absorption solutions at HANNOVER MESSE 2016, April 25-29 in Hannover, Germany. ITT’s Enidine brand will highlight its consultative engineering capabilities demonstrating its complete portfolio of customized motion control, energy absorption and vibration isolation products for key global industrial and automation markets.

“Our ITT Enidine engineering experts are committed to solving the most challenging applications in key global automation and industrial markets,” said Peter Bauer, Managing Director of ITT Enidine. “We have a long legacy as a trusted engineering, consulting and manufacturing partner who delivers customized shock absorber solutions on time and within budget.”

Designed for use in the world’s harshest environments, ITT Enidine’s product innovations offer market-leading reliability with extended service life in key global markets such as automation, energy, infrastructure and heavy industry. Highlighted products to be displayed at HANNOVER MESSE include:

  • Heavy Duty (HD/HDN) Series Shock Absorbers: The HD/HDN shock absorbers incorporate an internal, air charged bladder accumulator, which replaces mechanical return springs and provides a shorter length and reduced weight compared to competing products. ITT’s heavy duty industrial shock absorbers come in a wide variety of configurations, including bellows, clevis mounts and safety cables. ITT’s heavy duty hydraulic shock absorbers are fully field-repairable.
  • Jarret Series Buffers: These buffers are designed specifically for handling heavy loads and energies on platform decks in rough environmental conditions like the North Sea. They have a lifetime of up to 20 years and can withstand continuous salt spray and ocean air.
  • Wire Rope Isolators: Designed with a stainless steel cable and aluminum retaining bars, the product line includes versatile mounting options, crimping patterns and size variations. The isolators are corrosion resistant and are trusted vibration isolation solutions in a variety of industrial and automation applications where equipment produces vibration onto surrounding structures.

“The ITT Enidine portfolio of customized motion control, energy absorption and vibration isolation products are helping to keep industrial components running longer with less unplanned downtime in oil and gas, food and beverage, and automotive plant environments,” said Greg Herman, Product Line Manager for ITT’s Enidine brand. “We’re continuing to deliver on our mission of providing highly engineered solutions for our global customers.”

ITT representatives will be available for meetings at HANNOVER MESSE 2016 in Hall 16, Stand F08. For more information on ITT Enidine’s unique solutions and applications for vibration isolation programs, please visit ITT Enidine online at www.enidine.com.
