Fifth Wheel St. releases new apps on fifth anniversary

The founder of FifthWheelSt.com, one of the fastest growing RV safety self-help websites, celebrates its fifth anniversary, and releases two new user-friendly RV safety apps.
CRESTVIEW, Fla. - April 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Dave Gray, founder of Fifth Wheel Street, is celebrating the fifth anniversary of his RV safety website with the release of two new mobile applications.

FifthWheelSt.com provides 13-point weight safety reports and mobile friendly apps that aid RV buyers with tow vehicle and trailer selection, and truck owners looking to buy a camper.

Gray said he is delighted that Fifth Wheel St. has become a very popular website among RV owners. "Five years ago, Fifth Wheel St. was an idea that started out of frustration from the lack of information and simplicity on how to correctly weigh a tow vehicle and trailer," he said. Gray had been pondering why there was not a user-friendly website to help RVers understand how to weigh their rigs. He decided to use his learned skills and problem solving work experience from his years in the U.S. Army and his former job as an electronics technician at the U.S. Postal Service. Within 17 hours, the first-of-its-kind website, Fifth Wheel St., was born April 18, 2011, and appeared on the Internet for the first time.

The growth of Fifth Wheel St. has birthed new products as well as grown to more than 70 pages of RV safety-related information. This month, Gray released Truck Camper Load Check 2.0 and revised the Conventional Trailer Weight Safety Report.

Gray explains that Truck Camper Load Check 2.0 is a complete rebuild of his first app developed for truck owners and RV dealers who want to correctly match the right camper. "The app is now fully functional on all mobile devices with internet access and a web browser," said Gray. "The new Truck Camper Load Check 2.0 is a tool that will help owners avoid seeing their truck bed drop to the axle after loading it up the first time for a trip." More information on the Truck Camper Load Check 2.0 App can be found at tcLoadCheck.com.

The revised Conventional Trailer Weight Safety Report is a mobile-friendly app that provides a 13-point weight safety report for all who tow using a conventional ball-type hitch. Gray said that this newly revised report is unique in that it provides the function of knowing the true tongue weight for those towing with a weight distribution system. The Conventional Trailer Weight Safety Report is part of the five-step weight safety plan available at FifthWheelSt.com.

Gray has produced several other apps for mobile devices and for the web. They include the Fifth Wheel St. app for Apple, Android and Kindle devices; and RV Tow Check, Fifth Wheel St.'s most-used app, which is available on all mobile devices with internet access and a web browser.

Additionally, Gray now owns FifthWheelStreet.com and hopes that by owning this newest domain, it will improve users' ability to find his website.

The "ST" in Fifth Wheel St. has meant "safe towing," Gray said. However, over time, the website name has been dubbed Fifth Wheel Street.
