Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc. (NYSE: BCEI) announced on Wednesday (4/20) that it is scheduled to release its first quarter 2016 financial and operating results after market close on May 5, 2016. The company is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of onshore oil and associated liquids-rich natural gas in the United States.
Since April 5, the stock price has been on the rise. From lows of $1.25 to highs of $3.60 on Thursday morning, BCEI has increased by as much as 188% in less than a month.

TransEnterix, Inc. (NYSE MKT: TRXC) declined in price by more than 60% Thursday morning. Following lows of $1.28, the stock rebounded in early morning trading to highs of $2.56 representing a reversal of 100% for the day. On Tuesday (4/19) the company was notified by the United States Food and Drug Administration that the FDA has determined that the SurgiBot™ System does not meet the criteria for substantial equivalence based upon the data and information submitted by TransEnterix in its 510(k) submission. This was revealed in a press release on Wednesday 4/20.
"The FDA's decision is extremely disappointing. We are in the process of reviewing all aspects of the FDA's communication," said Todd M. Pope, President and CEO of TransEnterix. "We will work to complete this review, and will provide an update on the regulatory strategy for the SurgiBot System together with our first quarter 2016 financial and operating results during our quarterly conference call on May 10, 2016."

UniPixel, Inc. (NASDAQ: UNXL) recently announced a new design win from a leading U.S. PC manufacturer for a 13.3-inch laptop computer. Majesco Entertainment Co. (NASDAQ: COOL) announced last week that it would be accepting subscription agreements with certain accredited investors in a Registered Direct Offering. The net proceeds of the Offering, before expenses, is approximately $1.5 million, which the Company will issue shares of its common stock for a per share purchase price of $1.00. Additionally, the Company will issue and sell to each investor in the Offering a warrant to purchase 75% of the number of shares purchased by the investor in the offering. The warrant is exercisable for a period of two years at an initial exercise price of $1.15 per share. Both values represent premiums to the current market price of the stock.
Since late March, shares of COOL have seen price as high as $0.99.
