ICF International Awarded $20 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new multiple-award blanket purchase agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Atmospheric Protection Stratospheric Protection Division (SPD). The contract has a value of $19.8 million and a term of five years, including one base year and four one-year options.

ICF will continue to provide technical and analytical support to help SPD develop and implement programs designed to complete the phase out of the production and consumption of ozone depleting substances (ODS), evaluate new technologies and climate-friendly alternatives and ensure that information on cost-effective and sustainable solutions are made available domestically and internationally.

For the past three decades, ICF has supported EPA’s mission to restore and protect the earth’s stratospheric ozone layer. Through this work, the ICF team has amassed unparalleled institutional knowledge of SPD programs and a solid understanding of the agency’s position as a global leader in climate change and its crucial role in implementing the president’s Climate Action Plan.

ICF combines world-class expertise in climate change with a broad range of multi-disciplinary capabilities to support SPD in the following areas: policy and program analysis and development; environmental, technical, economic, regulatory, health and safety and market feasibility analyses; modeling and computer systems development; rulemaking support; and communications and outreach.

“Over the past decade, SPD has continued to be a driving force for implementation of the Montreal Protocol at home and abroad,” said Mark Wagner, senior vice president for ICF International. “ICF is pleased to have contributed to this success and we look forward to continuing to provide innovative and forward-thinking counsel to SPD as its mission and programs evolve.”
