Shares of potash producers Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MOS) surged $10.04 to close at $107.08 and Intrepid Potash (NYSE: IPI) added 12 cents to close at $29.15 after Dutch rival K+S reported earnings that leaped five times as demand soared.
