Banks Participate In Capital Infusion Program

Shares of Fifth Third Bancorp (Nasdaq: FITB) surged $1.19 to $9.26 and Huntington Bancshares (Nasdaq: HBAN) soared $1.51 to $9.51 after the regional banks applied to participate in the government capital infusion program.
