Cosmetics company Bare Escentuals Inc. (Nasdaq: BARE) posted higher third quarter profits of 25 cents per share compared with 22 cents per share in the year ago period, but the results missed targets. Analysts promptly downgraded the stock which skidded $2.23 to $4.64.
