Specialty vehicle maker Oshkosh Corp. (NYSE: OSK) swung to a first quarter loss of 28 cents per share compared with income of 50 cents per share in the year ago period due to the sluggish global economy, withdrew its full year outlook, and announced layoffs and production cuts sending the stock price plummeting $3.29 to close at $7.53.
