NetApp Inc. (Nasdaq: NTAP) will acquire Data Domain (Nasdaq: DDUP) in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately $1.5 billion. Shares of NetApp rose 59 cents to $17.93 while Data Domain stock leaped $6.21 to $24.12.
