LDK Solar Co. Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) swung to a first quarter loss of 21 cents per American depositary share compared with income of 45 cents per ADS in the year ago period prompting a downgrade. Shares of the solar wafer maker plunged $1.53 to close at $7.77.
